Cooling Efficiency
13.4 SEER2/11 EER2 cooling

SEER2

SEER2 stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio and applies to cooling efficiency for central air conditioners and heat pumps. The higher the SEER2, the greater the energy economy.

EER2

The Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER2) that calculates the energy the unit uses to function. It can be found by dividing a unit’s BTU output by its wattage, and the high EER2 rating means a more efficient air conditioner, so the higher the better.

Heating Efficiency
6.7 HSPF2 heating

HSPF2

Heat pumps heat your home using electricity as their fuel source, and their efficiency is measured as Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF2). The higher the HSPF2, the greater the efficiency and the greater your energy savings potential.

Sound level
As low as 73 decibels1

Sound Level

A decibel is a unit used to measure sound or power level of an electrical signal by comparing it with a given level on a logarithmic scale.

Warranty
10-year parts limited warranty upon timely registration2
Fan Motor
Efficient fixed-speed blower motor

Fan Motor

The fan motor drives the fan blades to circulate air through the HVAC system, maintaining proper airflow, ensuring efficient heating and cooling, and preventing system overheating.

Compressor
Efficient single-stage scroll compressor

Compressor

The compressor pumps and compresses refrigerant, enabling heat transfer to condition the air efficiently.

Cooling capacity
2–5 tons

Cooling Capacity

The cooling capacity of an air conditioner or heat pump indicates the amount of heat it can remove per hour. It is measured in tons, with one ton equaling 12,000 BTUs.

Refrigerant
Lower global warming potential R-454B

Refrigerant

Refrigerant absorbs heat from indoor air in the evaporator coil and releases it outside through the condenser coil, enabling the cooling process.
