Shape
The shape of the evaporator coil can influence the efficiency, performance, and space requirements of an HVAC system.

Flow Design
How the airflow is directed across the coil's surface during the cooling process.

Expansion Valve
The expansion valve regulates the flow of refrigerant into the coil, controlling the pressure and temperature of the refrigerant as it enters, ensuring efficient heat exchange and proper cooling or heating performance.

Capacity
The amount of heat a unit can absorb from the air in a given period of time. It is measured in tons, with one ton equaling 12,000 BTUs.

Refrigerant
Refrigerant absorbs heat from indoor air in the evaporator coil and releases it outside through the condenser coil, enabling the cooling process.
